Elvira with Amigo, Sandra and Marco with Blaze, Bubu,Zoe, Roman with Lio and Karin with Pauli (from 16.08.20):

From the post bus stop Schwägalp you walk towards the dirt hole and you are out of the "business" of Schwägalp. After about 20 minutes you come to a small tarred road, which you walk up for about 5 minutes to branch off again onto a path to the right. Through light woods we come to Hinter Stelzenboden. You now come to Dunkelboden - a short piece of tar. A short ascent, and you walk around the tarred road and come to Luttertannen - a view back to Säntis. In Luttertannen. Now you follow the slope to Laad and further on towards "Läusi" where the path ends in a forest road, there is no signpost. But the forest road to the left up to the alpine huts of Läuis. On the opposite side you can see the Hinterfallenkopf with its rugged rock faces. Immediately afterwards the path goes down again. 20m further down is the sulphur spring of Rietbad . Keep along the slope and after Strick you reach the tarred road, which you follow to Heimetli.

Beautiful view to the Churfirsten, Speer, Tweralp and into the valley and towards Ennetbühl. Take the turnoff to the right to the farm to get along the slope to the "Bergässli". Now you can see the church and dormitory of Neu St.Johann.

This path leads steeply past the first houses of Nesslau through a hollow path to the school and directly down to the village of Nesslau. Another 5 minutes to the train station Nesslau - Neu St.Johann. There you take the post bus back to Schwägalp.
