Elvira with Amigo and Roman with Lio (from 10.05.20):

Starting point of the hike is the bus stop Fischingen Kloster. A visit to the Benedictine monastery Fischingen at the beginning or end should be included in the schedule. The hike on the Thurgau Dance Cones Path starts right at the bus stop and leads steeply up via Neuschür to Ottenegg (ridge is already marked), where you will find the statue of the Virgin Mary commemorating the founding of the orphanage in Fischingen Monastery. Here you already have a fantastic view of Lake Constance and the Hegau volcanic landscape. From Ottenegg, follow the hiking trail via Höll up to the ridge, at 991 m.a.s.l. the highest elevation in Thurgau. At the top you can enjoy a fantastic panorama of Toggenburg with the characteristic features of the pre-Alpine hilly landscape. Between the ridge and St. Iddaburg you can see the deep gorge of the Murg with its rugged rock faces. From the ridge the descent follows via Hohlenstein, Allenwinden through the gentle hilly landscape. Between Allenwinden and Rotbühl the trail follows the tarred road. Then it goes via Gnist through forest back to the starting point in Fischingen.
