From Gstaad the beautiful hiking trail leads along the Lauibach to Lauenen. If you want to shorten the route, you can take the bus to Lauenen or even to Lake Lauenen. With the Gstaad card, two-legged friends can travel free of charge, dogs pay the half-price. The circular walk around the lake takes about an hour. If you walk the distance from Lauenen to Lake Lauenen, you should definitely choose the path along the stream. Through the wildly romantic and fairytale (we christened this stretch "Koboldweg") Rossfallenschlucht (gorge), the hiking trail winds along the ever-widening Lauibach. Often we stopped, took advantage of the benches and let the beautiful nature have its effect on us.

From Lauenen the bus will take you back to Gstaad, where it is worth taking some time to stroll through the cosy village.
