Sina with Reo & Ramona with Lilly and Elwis (from 06. to 07.06.2019):

Day 1:
The tour starts at the Brülisau valley station, where you can leave your car comfortably in the large gravel parking lot. Then you follow the geological trail in the direction of Plattenbödeli, always nicely up the Brüeltobel. At the top you will find the mountain inn Plattenbödeli, where you can take a short break. You can either go directly down to the Sämtisersee, or follow the road and later on reach the lake shore. Here you can let the dogs drink or take a bath and enjoy the nature a little bit. 😉
Continue in direction Töbelihütte, but before you turn right along the plain and soon you pass the Kalthütte and reach the Rheintaler Sämtis. Along the way, next to the river, there are many fountains where dogs can refresh themselves (but please do not let them bathe). There is also a big open pasture where we found cows, sheep and goats. So for hunters: off to the leash!
When you have crossed the plain, take the steep path on the left, towards Bollenwees. Here it is quite steep uphill next to a steep face, but the view from the top is rewarding as soon as you see the Fählensee. A few steps further on is the mountain inn Bollenwees, where we had our lunch break (dogs are welcome to join us in the restaurant). We recommend the Rösti they offer here. It is really phenomenally delicious 😉.
After everyone has recharged their batteries, we continue to Saxerlücke, up a stony path.
!Attention! We did find some snowfields at the beginning of June after all. So it is recommended to have good shoes with you! After passing them, we continue up the mountain in serpentines with a fantastic view of the Bollenwees plain. From the Hüser it is then about another hour following the relatively flat mountain path until you reach the Staubern mountain inn. We paid for an overnight stay (65.- p.p.) with three dogs (5.- each) plus dinner and drinks almost 100.- per person. Dogs are welcome and are also allowed in the restaurant. After excellent Älplermagronen and two Möhl we went to rest.

Day 2:
After a delicious breakfast (which is included in the room rate) and the fantastic view from the Stauberenkanzel, we continue towards Hoher Kasten. The path leads over the Stauberenfürst, which invites you to take breathtaking panoramic photos, and then over the Glogger, from which you can take wonderful pictures of the Sämtisersee (which you passed only yesterday!). The relatively flat path leads past several stone walls and shines with great vantage points (unfortunately no rubbish bins) which invite you to take a break. After about two more hours you reach the Hoher Kasten, where you can have lunch and the dogs can drink water. On this way there is unfortunately not a single water source for the dogs, than take enough water with you! After the break the descent follows, passing the Kamor Trestenkopf in direction Brülisau. After about 1.5 hours you reach the Ruhesitz mountain inn where you can rent scooters and ride them down into the valley. However, as we had more than 15°C, we decided against it and followed the meadow paths into the valley, where we had a beer to celebrate the day. 😊
