Ibergeregg - Rothenflue - Ibergeregg

We start our winter hike from Ibergeregg Passhöhe, where there is public parking. Arrival by public transport is only possible from 03.06. to 22.10.

Right at the beginning we dive into a wonderful winter world. The panoramic view stretches from the "Talchessel" Schwyz, into the surrounding mountains as well as to Ybrig and as far as Einsiedeln. But we have also chosen a dreamlike morning. The path is perfectly groomed in winter and on this Tuesday morning we hardly meet any other hikers. 2-3 times the trail crosses the ski slope, but this is no problem for us. On the weekends there is certainly more going on here.

Soon the two imposing myths appear in our field of vision. The last part up to Rothenflue is steeper, but we are rewarded again with a great view.

Back we hike on the same path, again to Ibergeregg.
