Roggenhausen Wildlife Park

As the weather was very changeable today, we decided to go to the Roggenhausen Game Park, which was not a bad decision. You can park not far away from the park, on the public parking lot. Shagged out, we soon realized that we were practically on our own, which didn't make us sad at all.

If you want to, you can take the circular path, or the direct way to the park, which is open to the public all year round. Despite the changeable weather, we were able to observe some animals like deer, ibex, marmots, goats etc. in their large enclosures and feed them with special food that can be left from the vending machines. The park is well manageable and several cosy places invite to stay.

With a little patience, you can observe the stone martens in the Spycher. For dogs like mine, such a visit to the park is also a good exercise to sit down and observe calmly.

If the park does not offer enough, you can also take the Planet Trail or the Nature Trail, where you can learn about interesting topics such as flora and fauna, geology etc. Although the park is not very big, it has its own charm and is always worth a visit for young and old. Think, at the weekends and in good weather, with dog not recommended.
