We parked at the Iltios Bergbahn Unterwasser and walked towards Moos/ Plätteli with the first destination Gamplüt where we deserved a break after the ascent.
Continue along the panorama path Stein down to Laui and there you turn off towards Gräppelensee.
At the Gräppelensee it is worth taking a break and enjoying the beautiful lake. It has very nice picnic areas there. Unfortunately the way from Laui up to the Gräppelensee is tarred.
A short time later you could already go down again to Alt St. Johann but we hiked further towards Oberstoffel where we found the signpost towards Alt. St. Johann.
