Nadja with Maily:

The hike starts at the Restaurant Alpenrösli on the Grimselpass (2165m) and leads past marmots and the Totensee. Soon a first gentle ascent to Chrizegge follows. It's worth it: the view of the Rhone valley and the Valaisan mountain celebrities is beautiful. Enjoying the enchanting mountain scenery, you take a leisurely walk along the high-level hiking trail to Jostsee. Now a steep but not too long ascent to Triebtenseelicke (2639m) is on the agenda. It is also possible to branch off a little earlier and start the ascent earlier. On the way to Triebtenseelicke you can meet a small, curious flock of sheep. Until now there has never been a flock protection dog and the flock is easy to avoid. Here the trail follows a mountain trail and after a while it leads mostly across smaller and larger granite blocks. With the white-red markings as landmarks one looks for a way to the top. This passage is well passable and not difficult to find. Nevertheless good hiking boots and surefootedness are recommended for the ascent and descent. Once at the top, the effort is generously rewarded with a fantastic view to the north towards the Aare glacier. The panoramic view over the "moated castle of Switzerland" invites you to enjoy. Here you have the possibility to change the hike, climb the Sidelhorn (2764m) and hike over the ridge back to the Grimselpass (demanding mountain hiking). For the more leisurely round, the mountain trail now slowly zigzags down to Triebtenseeli. Always with a view of the Grimselsee, the trail continues along the hiking trail to the Husegg hut. On the way one meets every now and then last snow fields. It is advisable to take a look behind from time to time. The original landscape is indescribably beautiful. On the last few kilometres there is a descent past the Husegg hut back to the Grimselpass and the restaurant Alpenrösli. Here a delicious Valaisan platter awaits the hungry hiking teams...en güete ☺
