Nathalie with Indira (from 20.07.19):

I park below the Simmenfälle. There the steep ascent along the thundering Simme to the Barbara Bridge begins. The cold water that rushes over the bridge serves as a welcome cool down. Those who prefer not to walk over it can also avoid it. The path continues up the forest with many curves. Deep cuts can be seen where the Simme has made its way. At the top of the Rezliberg Alp, one has also arrived at the source of the Simme.

If you want to, you can stop here or stay at the Siben Brünne. Here the water gushes out of 7 main branches over a mighty limestone wall. After a refreshment I start the steep ascent to Flueseeli.

ATTENTION: If there is still snow, the way to the lake is not recommended!

The path leads past grazing sheep, but they do not pose any danger. The narrower parts are equipped with chains, but surefootedness is still an advantage. At the top I enjoy the wonderful panorama and Indira allows herself a cool down in the lake, which is a little bit too cold for me personally. The Flueseehütte is not maintained and offers 12 beds (no cooking place available). On the beautiful weekends there is a supervisor. Whether dogs are permitted, would have to be clarified. Who would like to can continue his hike from there. We are then after a long break, again on the same way back.
