Col du Pillon - Lac Retaud Rundtour

The hike starts at Col du Pillon, at the gondola station Glacier 3000, where you can also park.
From here (Route 109) the 30 min. ascent to the small, beautiful Lac Retaud starts. If you like you can also drive up to the lake by car. From here the route continues on a wide, well constructed path towards the Andérets Pass. On the way we meet again and again grazing cows / cattle and goats, but they show only little interest. At the top of the pass, another beautiful panorama awaits us with a view of the Arnensee and the Bernese Oberland. Here we take a rest and enjoy the wonderful view before we head back down to the parking lot. ATTENTION: The whole route is in the pasture area, so dogs must be kept on a leash. If you want to avoid cows, you should take the route in the middle or end of September.
