Céline with Boris (Insta bobisabenteuerwelt), Chipsi, Lucky and Friends (from 18.09.23):

We started at the train station in Appenzell. The platform at the station has individual elevations. If you are not in the associated carriage, it has to get off a difference to the Perron (feasible, if necessary with escort).

Then you walk through the village, but soon you get into the nature with river access. To the left and right it has then also fields, which are well suited to play and a pond to bathe in it (dog definitely gets dirty).
Then it goes through the forest. There it also has several barbecue sites. However, well populated, even with children.

At the end of the forest track, about 20 minutes before Weissbad, an asphalt road (cars possible) is waiting for you. This leads one then back to Appenzell.

We then decided not to walk on this road and walked back the same way at the end of the forest section.

If you go back by train, you have to make sure to get on at the platform at the wheelchair marked places. These are elevated and allow for level boarding.

Very easy walk, but offers beautiful views. The path is either asphalted or a good forest path.
