The arrival is via Mörel. There you have to leave your car, because Riederalp is car-free. Or even better, you travel by public transport. During the hiking tour, one repeatedely looks to the Aletsch Glacier. If there is a lot of snow, the dog cannot get off the path because it sinks too much into the snow masses. If one starts the hiking tour in the morning between 9-10 o'clock, one has the hiking path practically for oneself.
The hiking path is partly quite steep. Partly the ski slope has to be crossed.

Important:

- Bring water for your dog
- good winter shoes
- better in sunshine, not in fog
- no robidog or litter bins on the whole route
