Samantha,Fu Dang, Matthias and Sandra with the dogs Äly, Dudinka, Fenja Janto and Jenna (from 09.03.2021):

Meeting point for our group was the train station in Kradolf. We crossed the river Thur and followed the main road through Schönenberg.

Then following the red signs of the Ruinenweg we went into the nature. With small ups and downs, partly forest, partly field paths, we reached the ruin Anwil (fireplace available, but there was hardly any wood).

After a short break, it went on for us and changed from the Ruinenweg to the Geoweg.

Also this leads partly duch forest paths, like open terrain. Our next destination was the Bruderloch. Only 20 meters deep. But worth a visit. Lamps to recommend! PS: Also a large fire pit available, would be my favorite as a grilling spot on this tour.

The 2youngest 🐕 in the group enjoyed our break to play while the 2 legged ones fortified themselves.

And then it went varied again for all of us, until we came back to the ruins path. And followed it again.

At this time of the year the cow pastures were not yet in use. Which we found very pleasant. Also we carried the water for the 🐶 for free.
On the 2 stretch of the ruins trail, there were at least 2 more barbecue spots by the stream. There were a few stair sections as well.

The bridges along the way are all dog friendly, which we were happy about.

At the ruin Heubärg we had another short break. Unfortunately we missed then somehow the branch to the ruin Last. Since the km showed especially with a fellow runner, which ran along for the first time with one of my train dogs, so slowly tiredness understandably, we decided to start the direct way back to the station.

A great day, with great dogs and people came to an end.
