John's little farm, located in rural Bernese Seeland, allows for an effective encounter between its visitors and the animals. Around 383 animals from 69 species live on the 1 hectare zoo grounds. At the heart of the small zoo is the 700m2 petting area - visitors move around among a colourful crowd of alpacas, camels, llamas, baroque and dwarf donkeys, booted goats, Chinese muntjaks and mirror sheep.
Native wild animals, such as lynx, fox and co., and many others can also be observed at close quarters.
Dogfriendly: Dogs are allowed on a leash.
