Dischmatal path

Those who like to escape the hustle and bustle in Davos in winter as well as in summer make a side trip to the side valleys. Apart from the Sertig, the Dischma is particularly popular. Here you will find peace and quiet, only the murmur of the stream and the crunch of your shoes in the snow penetrates. But that shouldn't be a problem. The walls of the valley are close and narrow, the path meanders beside the brook into the valley and leads over various slight inclines. On the way, you will come across isolated stables and typical Walser houses, which are romantically slumbering in the landscape, sweetly snowed in. Depending on the weather, you might think that everything here is asleep and people are cuddled up under the blankets in front of the fireplace, so you can hardly imagine a more romantic walk - especially if you are in warm clothes yourself and only the tip of your nose is a little cold. Especially beautiful are the tracks of the animals that you often meet on the way. "Where fox and hare say good night to each other" is probably nowhere else so incredibly true as here. So you stroll leisurely through the landscape, switch off and then look forward to the hot chocolate that beckons after about 1 ½ hours of walking in the Teufi restaurant. Until then, one is surely hungry, which can be satisfied thanks to the local specialities of the menu. And the best thing is that you can then take the local bus back to the world outside the valley without having to tramp through the cold again. The later it gets in winter, the colder it gets.
