Arosa - Litzirüti - Langwies (Schanfiggtal)

This winter fairy tale can be started by public transport (to Arosa station) or by car (Untersee car park).

We drove by car to Untersee (4x4 or snow chains are necessary if there is a lot of snow) and parked there. Best signposted and marked we follow the purple posts. We have the best weather conditions and enjoy every step in the fresh snowy winter wonderland. The path is wide and always slightly sloping, dogs must be kept on a leash.

It takes about 40 minutes to the Isel reservoir. We cross the railway line and walk along the Plessur into the valley Schanfigg.

In Litzirüti (1.15h) or in Langwies (2.30h) the return journey can be made by train (dog 1/2 price).
