Course-Weekend Davos: Guided dog snowshoe tour with snow lesson

Perfectly suited for beginners, in cooperation with the Swiss Alpine Rescue, you will learn the most important information on the subject of "snow lore", so that you can then start your own snowshoe tours with the basic knowledge you have learned and the practice you have put into practice.

Requirements: easy tour, suitable for beginners, basic fitness required, unsuitable for small dogs due to deep snow

Program:

Day 1: Theory course with dinner
Day 2: Practice on the mountain with snowshoe tour on Jakobshorn

Price :

CHF 340.- / person in a double room
CHF 380.- / person in a single room
(H-and members receive CHF 20.- discount)

Included:1 night in a single or double room incl. dinner and breakfast, hot drink to be filled in a water bottle for snowshoe tour, rental material snowshoes and poles, mountain railway ticket, theory and practical course (conducted by the Swiss Alpine Rescue), guided snowshoe tour

IMPORTANT:

- The current COVID regulations of the Swiss Confederation apply
(2G plus mask obligation during theory)
- dogs should be socially compatible (with people and other dogs)
- one person per dog
- dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
- responsibility lies with the owner
- dog and person in good health
- insurance is the responsibility of the participant

Dog equipment: MUST:
well-fitting harness (Y-harness/traction harness), treats, enough water for on the way, dry towel/dog coat for restaurant stay

The registration is binding, because there is only a limited availability of places (10). Minimum number of participants is eight. The costs are to be transferred in advance to H-and.ch Tourism. No refund should the dog/human team not be able to take part in the snowshoe tour. However, in case of cancellation, substitutes can be provided. Accompanying persons (same price applies) must also be registered in advance for the purpose of organization. The course will take place in all weather conditions, except when there is not enough snow.
