Guided dog snowshoe tour with snow lesson

Perfectly suited for beginners, in cooperation with the Swiss Alpine Rescue, you will learn the most important information on the subject of "snow science", so that you can then start your own snowshoe tours with the basic knowledge you have learned and with the practice you have put into practice.

Program :

09.00 Coffee & croissants (Restaurant Atzmännig Lodge)

09.30 Theory / Snow Lesson Basic (Alpine Rettung Schweiz) - The dogs may be present during the theory lesson as long as the lesson is not disturbed by their presence.

10.30 a.m. Guided snowshoe tour (approx. 1.5-2 hrs. leisurely) - Snowshoe Guide Atzmännig

12.30 p.m. Lunch (Restaurant Atzmännig Lodge)

Price :

CHF 185.- / person
CHF 175.- / person (H-and Member)

Included: coffee, croissants, snow lesson, guided snowshoe tour, rental equipment, lunch (salad/soup, menu, tea)

IMPORTANT :

- Current federal COVID regulations apply
(2G plus mask requirement during theory)
- dogs should be socially compatible (with people and other dogs)
- one person per dog
- dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times
- responsibility lies with owner
- dog and person in good health
- insurance is participant's responsibility

Equipment dog MUST:
well-fitting harness (Y-harness/traction harness), treats, enough water for on the way, dry towel/dog coat for restaurant stay

Registration is binding, as there is only a limited number of places available (10). Minimum number of participants eight. The costs are to be transferred in advance to H-and.ch Tourism. No refunds will be made if the dog/man team cannot make the snowshoe tour. However, in case of cancellation, substitutes can be provided. Accompanying persons (same price applies) must also be registered in advance for the purpose of organization. The course will take place in all weather conditions, except when there is not enough snow.
