Märstetten - Fischingen

When we started in Märstetten, we followed the main road without pavement for a while until we landed in a small forest. In Amlikon we met another pilgrim and together we walked to Münchwilen. The way ran mostly over field paths or small concrete roads. From Münchwilen the path follows a small idyllic stream where the dogs can have a good bath. From the exit Wetzikon there is a small ascent the last 4 kilometers to Fischingen. The path disappears into the forest and becomes a wider trail. After 6.5 hours of walking, we arrived in Fischingen tired and happy. We did not reach the monastery, which can be seen from far away, but took the bus back home right at the first stop.
