Well recovered and after a balanced breakfast we start our third stage from Schwarzenburg to Fribourg.
After Schwarzenburg we follow the ViaJacobi hiking trail, as in the last few days. After a beautiful, hilly landscape we cross the Sodbach bridge and ascend to Heitenried, then via St. Antoni to Tavers. To St. Antoni, the route follows beautiful hiking trails and forest and small feeder roads until about 3 km before Tavers. The last section to Tafers is mainly on the main road, exposed to the blazing sun and runs mostly on asphalt, the paws of Onyx have been badly damaged. After about half an hour after Tavers in the direction of Fribourg we decided, for the welfare of the dog, to break off this stage and take the bus to Fribourg.
Here ends our project St. James' Way with dog, the way through the city of Fribourg is not very attractive.
